Mounts

The mount, as well as lifting the glass from the artwork and complimenting the colour, gives breathing space between the artwork and the frame. Using a double mount on a piece of artwork is an alternative way to increase the colour lift. This consists of a neutral shade on the top with a slight inset of colour underneath, which both compliments the artwork and offers more depth.

Multi-aperture mounts allow numerous pictures to be presented within one frame. We would offer advice on the layout as balance is important when displaying multiple pictures.
